I got the new issue of Classic Rock. Really enjoyed the interview with Sylvain Sylvain of New York Dolls. I thought the interview with Melissa Auf Der Maur could have been longer. They also mentioned Steven Adler (ex drummer of Guns N' Roses) is bringing out his memoirs - I hope to God he used a ghost writer cos the guy's taken so many drugs it ( Read more... )

I got the new Bubblegum Slut recently which had many wonderful things in it and delighted me no end. Some of my favourite bits of it were: Interviews with Amanda Palmer and Brijitte West (NY Loose), big retrospective on The Stray Cats (why don't Mojo ever do anything like this?!) plus interviews with Ruby Throat/Maple Bee and an article on These ( Read more... )

I got the new issue of Alt Fashion which had some nice bits in including articles on the London Tattoo Expo and Whitby Gothic Weekend. It's going to 3 times a year now so hopefully they can bring out bigger issues with more colour pages ( Read more... )

I quite liked the 2nd episode of Ashes to Ashes (especially the scene set in the Blitz nightclub) and I think the 2nd series of Torchwood is better than the 1st. Also enjoyed the return of Skins, I'm interested to see what will happen in this series ( Read more... )
